Located in Excelsior Springs, this small steel stringer bridge crosses Wornall Road at Jesse James Road.
Built in 1903, the bridge consists of a single steel stringer span, set onto concrete substructures. The only modification was the addition of new outer beams in approximately 2018, as well as a walkway and new deck.
It is likely that the addition of new beams helped strengthen this bridge. The existing design used four beams arranged with even spacing.
Overall, the bridge appears to be in fair to good condition, with no major deterioration noted.

The author has ranked this bridge as being locally significant, due to the common designs.
